The Solo Dream story
Solo Dream is an aluminium and glass company based in Al Qusais Industrial Area First, Dubai. We supply, fabricate and install folding and sliding doors, pivot entrances, aluminium windows, shower and glass partitions, washroom mirrors, pergolas and repair work. Most homeowners meet us for a single product, then come back because the result fits and the price held.
The reason we work mainly in aluminium and glass is simple: both suit Gulf living. Aluminium frames stay slim, resist corrosion and carry large panes of glass without sagging, and the metal is among the most recyclable building materials in use, which keeps a project lighter on the environment. The International Aluminium Institute sets out how the material can be remelted again and again with no loss of quality. Glass brings the daylight and the open feel that towers and villas here are designed around.
What separates us from a trader is that we build. Cutting, assembly, glazing and finishing happen under our own roof rather than through a chain of subcontractors. That keeps the quality, the timeline and the after-care in our own hands, and it is why we can stand behind a 10-year warranty on the frame and 5 years on the glass for our folding, sliding and telescopic doors and pergolas.
We started in Dubai and now cover all seven emirates, from the island towers of Abu Dhabi to the coastal homes of Ras Al Khaimah. A surveyor travels to you, takes exact measurements, talks through finishes and leaves you with an itemised quote priced per panel. There is no charge for that visit and no obligation to proceed.
Trust matters more in a trade where anyone can print a brochure, so we keep our promises concrete. We fabricate to recognised quality standards, we show pricing openly, and we tell you when a cheaper specification will cost you later in heat gain or maintenance. Honesty on the small calls is what earns the larger projects.
Four things we will not cut corners on
These are the rules the workshop runs by, on every job, in every emirate.
Built in-house
We own the fabrication, so a flaw is caught at the bench, not blamed on a supplier. Every panel is checked before it leaves the unit.
Made for the climate
Specifications are chosen for heat, blown dust and salt air, not for a showroom in a milder country. The doors have to survive a Dubai summer.
Honest, itemised pricing
Quotes are priced per panel and broken down line by line. You see what the frame, the glass and the hardware each cost before you decide.
Care after the install
The relationship does not end at handover. Warranty, servicing and repairs are part of the deal, and we answer when a client calls back.
Give people doors and windows that fit the first time, hold their finish for years, and come with a team that picks up the phone long after the invoice is paid.

Explore window & door repairThe 25mm profile, the slimmest we stock in Dubai
Most suppliers start at the 45mm industry profile. We hold thinner extrusions in-house, so more of your opening is glass.
Our slimmest sightline for sliding systems where the view matters most. Maximum glass, minimum frame.
Only at Solo DreamA middle option that keeps a delicate look while taking a little more structural load.
A sturdier face for taller panels and busier openings that see daily traffic.
The profile most fabricators stock as their thinnest. We treat it as our heavy-duty option.
A slimmer frame is not only about looks. Less aluminium on the face means more daylight and a clearer line of sight, which is exactly what a villa or a tower apartment is usually after. We will still recommend a thicker profile where a span or a wind load calls for it, because the right frame is the one that suits the opening, not the one that sells.
One workshop, start to finish
Our fabrication unit sits in Al Qusais Industrial Area First. Here is what happens between your measurement and your installation.
Cut to your sizes
Profiles are cut to the exact figures from your site survey, not to a stock length, so the doors arrive ready to fit.
Assembled and glazed
Frames are built, gaskets seated and glass set in the unit, where each panel can be squared and tested before it ships.
Checked, then loaded
A door that sticks or rattles is fixed at the bench. Only panels that open cleanly leave for site.
Fitted by our own crew
The same company that built the door installs it, so nothing is lost in a handover to a third party.
of our doors are cut, built and glazed in our own Dubai workshop.
What goes into a Solo Dream door
The parts you do not see decide how long a door lasts. Here is what we build with and how we hold quality.
Aluminium and finishes
We work in architectural-grade aluminium because it stays light, will not rust and carries large glass panes without bowing. Frames are finished by anodising or powder coating in a range of colours, from matte black and bronze to off-whites and timber-look wraps, so the doors match the building rather than fight it.
Powder-coated and anodised surfaces also stand up to ultraviolet light and coastal salt better than a painted finish, which is why we steer clients near the water towards them.
Glass options
Depending on the opening we use toughened glass for safety, laminated glass for security and sound, and double glazing where heat and noise need holding back. For bathrooms and partitions we fit toughened panels with polished edges. We talk you through the trade-off between cost, clarity and insulation for your exact room.
Hardware and security
Rollers, hinges, tracks and multi-point locks are the parts that wear, so we choose hardware rated for daily use and, for coastal homes, marine-grade fittings that resist salt corrosion. Good ironmongery is the difference between a door that glides for years and one that drags within a season.
Quality and conformity
We fabricate to recognised UAE and international standards and select materials that can meet them. The country runs its own product quality framework through the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology national conformity marks, and we keep our specifications aligned with that direction of travel so the work passes inspection where approval is required.
Reasons clients pick us over a trader

Ten years on the frame and five on the glass, backed by a company you can still reach afterwards.
