Terms & Conditions
The basis on which Solo Dream supplies, fabricates and installs your aluminium and glass products, and on which you use this website.
Last updated 1 July 2026
These terms cover how we quote, order, fabricate, install and guarantee your work, how payment and changes are handled, and the law that applies. Your statutory rights under UAE law are not affected.
Introduction
These terms and conditions set out the basis on which Solo Dream Aluminium & Glass ("Solo Dream", "we", "us" or "our") supplies aluminium and glass products and related services, and the basis on which you may use this website at solodream.ae. By requesting a quote, placing an order or using the website, you agree to these terms, so please read them carefully. They do not affect your statutory rights under UAE law.
Use of this website
The information on this website is provided for general guidance about our products and services. We work to keep it accurate, but specifications, prices and availability can change, so the content is not a binding offer. You agree to use the site lawfully, not to misuse it, attempt unauthorised access or interfere with how it works. Some pages link to other sites and platforms, and we are not responsible for their content.
Quotations and pricing
Any figures shown on this website or given before a site visit are indicative. A firm quotation is prepared after we have measured your opening and confirmed the specification. Prices are in UAE dirhams. Folding doors are typically priced per panel and sliding systems per square metre, with the final figure depending on size, glass, profile, finish and hardware.
Unless stated otherwise, a written quotation is valid for 30 days, and any applicable VAT is shown separately. If the scope changes after we quote, we will prepare a revised quotation before going ahead.
Orders, deposits and acceptance
An order is confirmed when you accept our written quotation and we acknowledge it. Because most of our work is made to your measurements and choices, we usually ask for a deposit before fabrication begins, with the balance due as set out in your quotation. The deposit and payment schedule are agreed with you in writing as part of that quotation.
We may decline or cancel an order if we cannot source the materials, if access is unsafe, or if it was based on an obvious pricing error. Where that happens, any deposit you have paid for work not yet started is refunded.
Site access and your responsibilities
So that we can measure and install correctly, you agree to give us safe and reasonable access to the property at the agreed times, to provide accurate information about the opening and the building, and to obtain any permissions needed from your landlord, developer or community before work starts. Where a building management body sets rules on external appearance or asks for an application, meeting those requirements is your responsibility, though we will help where we can. If access is delayed or the information given proves inaccurate, timelines and costs may be affected.
Fabrication, lead times and installation
Lead times we give are estimates based on the specification at the time of order. Fabrication usually takes a couple of weeks after the survey, and installation is arranged once items are ready. Made-to-measure items are produced to the sizes and options confirmed in your order, so please check these carefully before you approve them. Small variations in colour, finish and texture can occur and are normal for fabricated aluminium and glass. If you ask for changes after fabrication has started, extra charges and time may apply.
Payment terms
Payment is due as set out in your quotation, normally a deposit to begin and the balance on or before completion. Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received payment in full, while responsibility for the installed goods passes to you on installation. We may pause work or withhold handover where due payments are outstanding. If you think an invoice is wrong, please tell us promptly so we can review it.
Warranty
Our folding, sliding and telescopic doors and our pergolas carry a 10-year warranty on the aluminium frame and a 5-year warranty on the sealed glass units we supply, from the date of installation. The warranty covers defects in the frame and the sealed glass units under normal use. It does not cover wear items such as brush seals, accidental or impact damage, misuse, unauthorised alterations, or problems caused by work carried out by others. To make a claim, contact us with your details and we will inspect the product. This warranty is in addition to your rights under UAE law.
Changes, cancellations and refunds
You can ask to change or cancel an order before fabrication begins, and we will refund any deposit for work not yet started, less any costs we have already reasonably incurred. Once fabrication of made-to-measure items has begun, those items cannot usually be cancelled, because they are produced specifically for you and cannot be resold.
This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty or not as described. Your statutory rights under the UAE Consumer Protection Law remain in place. If something is wrong with your installation, contact us and we will put it right.
Care and maintenance
To keep your products working well and to keep the warranty valid, please follow reasonable care: clean frames and glass with mild, non-abrasive products, keep tracks and drainage channels clear of grit, and avoid forcing panels or hardware. We are happy to advise on care for your specific product, and we offer servicing and repairs if you ever need them.
Liability
We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. So far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from inaccurate information you provide, lack of access, or work carried out by others. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under UAE law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Our total liability for any claim connected to an order will not exceed the price paid for that order, except where the law requires otherwise.
Intellectual property
All designs, drawings, text, photographs, logos and other material that we create or display, on this website and in our quotations and proposals, belong to Solo Dream or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written permission. Where we photograph completed work, we may use those images to promote our services unless you ask us in writing not to.
Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as extreme weather, material shortages, transport disruption or actions of authorities. If such an event happens, we will let you know and agree a revised timeline with you. If the delay becomes substantial, either of us may end the affected order, and we will refund any amount paid for work not provided.
Privacy
We handle your personal data in line with our privacy policy, which explains what we collect and how we use and protect it. Please read it alongside these terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms, and any matter arising from your order or your use of this website, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections available to you. We would always rather resolve a concern with you directly, so please contact us first and we will do our best to put things right.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The version published on this page applies to orders placed after it is posted, and we will revise the date shown at the top when we make a change.
