Last updated 1 July 2026
We collect the details you send us, such as your name, contact number and what you need, so we can answer you and quote your project. We do not sell your data, and you can ask to see, correct or delete it at any time.
Introduction
Solo Dream Aluminium & Glass operates this website at solodream.ae and supplies, fabricates and installs aluminium and glass doors, windows, partitions, pergolas and mirrors across the United Arab Emirates. We respect your privacy and handle your personal data with care.
This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us or use our website, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. It is intended to align with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and other applicable UAE regulations. By contacting us or using this website, you accept the practices described here.
Information we collect
Information you give us directly
When you fill in the enquiry form or reach us by phone, WhatsApp, email or our social channels, we collect the details you choose to share. This is usually:
- your name
- your phone or WhatsApp number
- the emirate or area you are in
- a description of your project or question
You decide how much to tell us. If you email us, we also keep the content of that correspondence.
Information collected automatically
As with most websites, when you browse solodream.ae our tools may record basic technical information such as your device and browser type, an approximate location based on your IP address, the pages you view and how you reached the site. This is gathered through cookies and similar technologies, described under Cookies and analytics below.
What we do not collect
We do not take payments on this website, so we do not collect card or bank details here. We also do not ask for sensitive personal data such as health, religious or biometric information, and we ask that you do not send it to us.
How we use your information
We use the details you provide to:
- reply to your enquiry and answer your questions
- measure, plan and prepare a quote for your project
- arrange a free site visit and carry out work you approve
- keep records of our dealings with you, including for warranty and after-sales support
- improve our website and the service we offer
- send updates about your enquiry, and, only if you have agreed, occasional news about our services
Information collected automatically is used to keep the website working, to understand how it is used, and to make it better.
Our basis for processing
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law we process your data on one or more of these grounds:
- your consent, for example when you submit the enquiry form or opt in to updates
- to take steps at your request before a contract, and to carry out a contract with you
- our legitimate interest in running and improving our business, where this does not override your rights
- to meet a legal or regulatory obligation
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, as set out under Your rights.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies are small files placed on your device that help a website function and help its owner understand how it is used. We use essential cookies that make the site work, and analytics cookies, such as those used by Google Analytics, that show us which pages are useful and where we can improve. Analytics data is viewed in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings and may refuse non-essential cookies; the core of the website will still work. To understand how Google handles data from sites that use its tools, see the Google Privacy Policy.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where it is needed to run our business and serve you:
- service providers who help us operate, such as our website hosting and the analytics tools above
- messaging platforms: our enquiry form opens a pre-filled message in WhatsApp, so if you choose to send it, your message is delivered through WhatsApp and handled under the WhatsApp Privacy Policy
- authorities or professional advisers where we are required to by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims
Any provider that processes data on our behalf is expected to keep it secure and use it only for the agreed purpose.
International transfers
Some providers we use, such as Google and WhatsApp, are international companies and may process data on servers outside the UAE. Where personal data is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps so that it stays protected, consistent with the transfer conditions in the UAE Personal Data Protection Law. If you contact us through these platforms, their own privacy terms also apply to that communication.
How long we keep your data
We keep your personal data only for as long as we need it. Enquiry details are held while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return to us. Records connected to a completed job are kept longer to support the warranty and to meet accounting and legal requirements. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
How we protect your data
We take practical measures to protect your information. The website runs over a secure HTTPS connection, access to enquiry details is limited to the people who need it, and we use reputable providers for hosting and messaging. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your data we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law you have rights over your personal data, including the right to:
- be informed about how your data is used
- access the data we hold about you and ask for a copy
- have inaccurate data corrected
- ask us to delete your data, where there is no overriding reason to keep it
- restrict or object to certain processing
- withdraw consent you have given, at any time
- ask that your data be transferred, where this applies
To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can also raise a concern with the UAE Data Office, the national regulator, under the UAE data protection law.
Links to other sites
Our website and messages may link to other sites and platforms, including our Instagram and Facebook pages and Google Maps for directions. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those third parties. When you follow a link or open one of these platforms, the privacy policy of that service governs how it handles your information.
Children's privacy
Our services and website are intended for adults and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. When we do, we will revise the date shown at the top of this page. Please review it occasionally so you stay aware of how we protect your information.
